Hello! I am thrilled to be your assistant principal at Highland Park Elementary School. For five years, I taught early childhood special education at Fallon Park Elementary. After that, I transitioned to Highland Park, and taught third grade RCPS+ before being named Highland Park’s newest assistant principal.
Before coming to Roanoke, I attended Robert Morris University near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and earned my B.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education with an endorsement in autism spectrum disorders. After teaching for a few years, I pursued my M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision at the University of Virginia. It was there that I learned how important a principal’s role is in creating an inclusive learning environment for all, which is what makes me so excited to be your child’s assistant principal.
