Hello! My name is Susannah Francis, and I have been employed with Roanoke City Public Schools since 2000. I taught 4th grade for 5 years, 5th grade for 6 years, and currently I work as a Gifted Resource Teacher at Wasena, Fishburn Park, Westside, and Highland Park. I love anything to do with nature including hiking, camping, and gardening. A quiet afternoon with a great book is also a favorite activity! I love sparking wonder and curiosity in children and enjoy watching their love for learning expand.
