I have always gone to Roanoke City Public Schools and even went to Highland Park for kindergarten! After I graduated high school, I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Virginia Tech which makes me a proud Hokie! I completed an elementary education program through Virginia Tech and student taught here at Highland Park. I am currently finishing up a second Master's degree focused on literacy.
I have four sisters who I am very close to and love to spend time with. I also have two puppies named Lucy and Millie that are so sweet! My hobbies are reading, spending time with family, and devouring my favorite TV shows.
This is my fifth year teaching and I am so excited to watch my students learn and grow!
